6 months

Lots have happened in the sixth month of Rou's life.

She can search for you behind someone's back, is difficult to carry because of her quick turns, blabbers a little in Sunday service, plays peekaboo, starts being interested in gnawing her teething toys... the list goes on.

I've not been keeping track of her weight, and we only weigh her when she goes to the doctor's. So here are a couple of readings we got at 5 months plus, 6.8kg and when she had the HFMD scare, a dip at 6.3kg.

One of the last few pictures of Rou's cot still parked in our room. The mattress is still raised at highest level; she has yet to sit up but is moving forward in a wormy fashion.

Typical day where Rou spends some time parked at the window doing her traffic watch. Her interest in vehicles is obviously not as strong as Gabe's when he was the same age, and would rather keep her eyes on what brother is doing.

Super useful birdie chair. Comfy too. Bumbo's been kept; she twisted around so much she flipped out of it. And after that episode, she discovered the formula of getting out so it became very unsafe to put her in it.

Non-stop action. This little girl is real quiet but hardly keeps still. Started grabbing feet. Moved in to sleep with Gabe.

Found those chosen fingers. I love you too.

These weird positions of being so close to the cot wall make me feel uncomfortable for her, but she sleeps for a good 3 hours in the afternoon so I'm not really complaining.

Heyo! I'm on gorgor's bed!

Check out my side profile.

Duo on traffic watch.

Within this month, Rou has sat up and is getting pretty good at lurching forward to reach for things. Time to move the bed level down by a notch.

Our regular visitor, uncle Vinp.

I'm 6 months old, and ready for bed.

Papa's girl.

Obviously not too keen on a photo with gor gor on her cot.

Point taken.

Family portrait attempt #1

Family portrait attempt #2. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves though.
